“ORIGINS”, mixed by Alexia Rosari (released in early 2009), features the amazing trio of violinist Nadja Salerno-Sonnenberg and guitarists Sergio and Odair Assad performing with the Orquestra Sinfonica do Estado de São Paulo in “Originis”, and in works by Ginastera (Tres Danzas Argentinas), Piazzola (Milonga Per Tre) and Clarice Assad, Sergio’s daughter and award winning composer/pianist in her own right (Three Sketches).

Though drummer and composer Terri Lyne Carrington is best known for her work with Herbie Hancock, she has released several fine albums as a leader. “MORE TO SAY” is her latest reales (May 2009) and it includes guest performances by George Duke, Patrice Rushen, Nancy Wilson, and Les McCann. Alexia Rosari is one of the contributing recording engineers on this album.
